Penile Implants Experiences

I have gone through all my options to resurect my fallen member. I even intentionally overdosed on Cialis and added Levitra on top. The best I get out of it is small enlargement, and a soft erection, useless for penetration of a woman and of course, thrusting is out also. I get plenty of stimulation, so that's not the problem.
I think my last resort is an implant(s). I'd like to hear from men (and women on the receiving end) who have experience with penile implants. Here are some of my concerns: 1) I'm Type II diabetic, on insulin, with only fair glucose control. Injuries with open wounds heal slowly, and not always with best results. I worry about permanent damage to my penis, though it has no use at the moment anyway. 2)I don't have great length when flacid, varying between 4 and 5 inches. Even with an implant, I worry about not being able to perform to wife's needs without a little more length. I used to be just over six inches when erect. 3)Medicare provided a vacuum pump that worked great to get me up, but no amount of restriction stops leakage which causes failure within five minutes. I'm concerned that Medicare won't pay for the surgery since they've already paid for a pump. And I can't afford the cost myself on my limited budget.
If you have an implant, does it work as advertised? Are you pleased you had it done? You women, are you satisfied with your lover's performance with an implant?
I suspect there will be no replies to this thread in my lifetime. I'm 70 years old and actuarially, I should have been dead ten years ago. Unfortunately, I'm hornier now than I have been since my 20s.

The closest experience I have is working with a woman whose step-father had a penile inplant. Her mom said they made 'pumping it up' part of their foreplay.

I suggest finding a men's health website that has an active forum. You might find some input & advice from some folks with direct experience.

My brother-in-law (my wife's brother) is diabetic, has an implant, and from what I hear it works great for him.
