I've been thinking of getting a nipple piercing for a while now. The thought both excites and scares me at the same time. I'm not new to body modification, I just don't know about my nipples.

Does anyone here have a nipple piercing? Male or Female.

What are your thoughts? Did it hurt when it was getting done? What does it feel like now? Is it easy to care for? Does it enhance foreplay? How did your partner react? Did you get a horizontal or vertical piercing? What are the negatives? What are the positives?

Oh my...did you do it and it hurt or does the thought of it make your nipples hurt?

The thought of it brings me pain :) But with as many people that do it, it can't hurt too bad I wouldn't think.

That's what I'm hoping. Nothing else I've pierced hurt. My nose bled like a bitch, but it didn't hurt.

I just really like nipple play and I don't want it to become desensitized.

I would "think" it would do the opposite? If not, just play harder!

    :p

I'd imagine it would be like an other piercing and hurt briefly when first done.

As for sensitivity I only have anecdotal evidence but the majority of what I have heard is that it heightens sensitivity.

  10. i had my nipple pierced many years ago. i got it done because i had been thinkinga bout it for a long time and it wasnt a tatoo, so if i got sick of it or changed my mind i could just take it out without the guilt.

it hurt for a second or two when the needle first went it. it throbbed for a while, but it wasnt anything unbearable. I got a verticle one because i was working on a building site and didnt want it to get it stuck on anything while lifting if it was a horizon piercing. I liked it a lot, but the mrs hated it. she refused to touch it or even look at it. so that didnt go down too well.

as far as sensitivity is concerned, it heitened my sensitivity. I found myself stroking my nipple at time because if it. The only downside i had was that since i worked on a building site i had a hard time keeping it clean and from being infected. I had to constantly keep washing it in saline water every day or two just to keep it clean. I had it for about 1.5 years before i pulled it out when i got tired of the upkeep.

now ive just got a slight scar where the holes used to be. a nice little reminder.

I'm not afraid of needles at all. I just haven't had the guts to pierce my nipples or my clitoral hood yet. Two areas that have yet to be pierced, but I have been entertaining the thought for some time now.

I've heard stories that they add to sensation, but have also desensitized the areas as well. I should just do it.

I'd also like to try my hand at more exhibition. I should take photos....before and after.

I had both of my nipples pierced when I was about 19, I'm 27 now.

It does hurt quite a bit when it's happening but I can't imagine it being more than most people can handle. I think I probably have a fairly low pain threshold and I got through it.

The piercings gave me no trouble for a while, but then when I was about 22 one of them started acting up: I noticed a little bump emerging immediately next to the piercing entrance and the piercing itself was becoming a bit crusty so it was presumably infected (I should point out this was a different kind of bump to the usual areola bumps, of which I also have many since being pierced). After trying for a while to calm it down with regular salt water soaks and general TLC, it recovered enough for me to then take it out and cut my losses on that one.

The piercings did heighten sensitivity for me, but unfortunately not in a good way. My nipples were already sensitive before but after having them pierced they have been over-sensitive and anything beyond the gentlest touch is now uncomfortable rather than pleasurable. Even that one I removed has left my nipple overly sensitive, so for me it seems like there is really no going back on it. I'm stuck with these hopeless nipples for life now.

I still have the other nipple piercing left. I keep it as I like how it looks. Had I known then how things would turn out for me and my nipples, I wouldn't have had the piercings done.

But, as they say, YMMV. I remember when researching it for myself, all I found were either overwhelmingly positive reviews of the experience, or utterly bewildering horror stories, so I figure I can offer up something in the middle.

On the other hand, I have nothing but good things to say about my VCH piercing, but perhaps that's another thread.

  17. Hmmmm. The tattoo shop where a friend works is having a special this weekend as a fundraiser for the Humane Society.... Maybe I'll get one of my nipples pierced to help out some furry friends!

  18. I was AT the tattoo parlor. My friend was working. I was VERY close to getting one. You know why I didn't do it? I am cheap. It would have only been $40 with the piercing fee and jewelry. I just kept thinking, "that's $40 I could spend on Squishy for Christmas."

Also, I think ScarletBegonia should at least post a before pic....even if she chickens out too. I just want to live vicariously through her.

  19. Seriously! TITTIES! TITTIES! TITTIES! TITTIES! TITTIES!

Sorry, I was at a rugby party last night and there were lesbians naked in a hot tub screaming that over and over. I dreamed of titties all night. They couldn't get this "straight" girl into the soup, but I did flash them the twins.

A number of the ladies on the team have one or both nipples pierced. They said they would go with me and hold my hand when I wanted the piercing.
