    I'm looking for something jazzy and/or down-beat mellow, but catchy.

    Preferences for anything technically articulate; jazz w/ improve, bass-line or down-beat driven.

    I'm a huge fan of things like the following:
    DMB,
    Mark Farina,
    Tower of Power,
    Phil Colins & the Phil Colins Big Band,
    Claypool's independent stuff, C2B3

    I know there's a lot out there, and I have a list. I'm just looking to see if anyone's thoughts match-up to my list... in an attempt to scratch an itch.

    Kruder and Dorfmeister : k+d sessions
    LTJ Bukem : journey inwards

    Other artists in the same league : Tosca, Thievery corporation, Nightmares on wax, Air,... maybe massive attack, portishead

    lots of great stuff out there :p
