Mondays suck

Anyone else with me on this on?

Can't get into it today. Coffee doesn't seem to help. Just cannot get into work mode today. Worst part about it is I have to do a lot of research and writing these next few days. Something I don't really care for. Ugh....

 

But every day is Monday.

Every day. No days off.

For months. For years.

ha...I was just thinking the same thing. After I walked Benjen this morning, I made a cup of tea and sat on the back steps with him, enjoying the morning sunshine. I told myself I'd jump in the shower when the tea was gone, but man...I am just not getting motivated. (of course, now I'm going to have to rush around to get ready, since I have to leave in about 20 minutes...)

 

I hate mondays because well, it's the first day of the week. I usually spend extra time in the morning browsing the internet and drinking coffee.

 

Safety training first thing for me, plus, Captain Can Opener (a guy from work) comes back from vacation....

 

Oh, man....my manager is back from vacation today, too. That's gonna suuuuuck.

(seriously, Cinn, get moving or you'll be late. BACK AWAY FROM THE INTERNET!)

Yeah. I guess the only solution is to work every day. Wait, no.

 

This Monday, in England is part of the Late Summer Bank Holiday ... nobody goes to work today.
Apart from that. Yup. Mondays suck.

 

mondays suck. i agree. man the weekend is never long enough. i think they should do away with mondays, but then i would hate tuesdays

 

I got up at 5am like every work day get my coffee on my way in get there only 2 hours of work, so now its 11:30am I still wide awake but bored out of my mind because everyone else is working.

 

I really don't hate Mondays too much, but today is an exception. There was a very loud, fairly violent thunderstorm that blew through late last night that kept me awake for a good while, and now my ass is dragging.

 

I'm actually fairly hit and miss on Mondays, but a lot of that depends on what shift I'm on.
Mornings - I don't like Monday's. Mainly because I get up at 4:30 and never get to bed early enough
Evenings - I don't mind Monday's. Probably because I don't start until 2pm.
Midnights - I like Monday's. Because it's my second day of the week so I don't like Sundays.

 

I hate Mondays lately because they have been giving me three day weekends for the last month and going back in afterwards is always like a little death.
Now I have to go.
I hate working the evening shift, too.

 

I thought the same thing after I had coffee this morning.... then I had a second cup. A large, second cup. That did the trick!

 

Wake up two hours earlier than normal? Check.
Have to wear a suit all day? Check.
Have to meet with annoying clients? Check.

Yeah, Mondays can absolutely go suck it.

 

The was a guy I work with, he has a little bit of a temper, and he slammed a door so hard once.... the door, the frame, ripped out of the metal sheeting of the building..... he was pissed.... hence Captain Can Opener....
