How does one promote a web site ?

As you may know,the TFPez.com is running on it's own. I'd like to get the word out to who ever that it's a nice "T/A&B" site....how does one do that? Can we e-mail our current list of members?...can we advertize (at no cost) some way on the net...I'm a computer "dumbie" so it either has to be easy or have some one help?

Find a highly trafficked area with people who have a good potential of clicking through a link to your site. Have someone mock you up a button
(get cynthetiq's/whomever you should ask's final OK) and offer it to webmasters who run such sites. I own a site that I don't advertise but due to the NSFW content can garner 2000-3000 unique hits a day. I can put a click- thru button up there in my sidebar above the fold if you'd like. Also if you can reach out to anyone who knows about Search Engine Optimization (SEO), maybe specifically for NSFW stuff that could help. I only know some about publicizing vanilla content.

 

A post in Reddit's NSFW section will probably bring in new visitors, but not a lot of new registrations.
