I am finally watching a 'current' series so I decided to start a thread about it. Yes this is exclusively on Netflix and that excludes some people out there.
I just finished episode 1 and it was good in my opinion. The initial view of this world gives you a good mystery, tantalising glimpses at secrets, and no answers. Just how it should be.
I am going to avoid what I have done for the first 3-4 seasons of CSI: Miami and some other shows and not do the marathon viewing session with this one.

    Episode 2 -
Another good one. We find out that the Gypsy kid is
some kind of shapeshifter/werewolf type. The transformation shows his normal eyeballs and teeth being pushed out as they are replaced. Bettter than any of the other transformation scenes I can recall seeing on other shows or movies.

The car Roman drives is damn nice. If the series keeps this up style I will buy it on DVD in a heartbeat when it is out..
I plan on watching episode 3 tomorrow.

How gory is it? Is it a Hostel style hard-R or more PG-13?

In the first two more like a hard pg-13. The "Mature" rating includes a few shots of breast so far but nothing that graphic or adult so far.
The scene at the end of episode 2 definitely would not air on network television in the States but fit right in on Showtime or HBO, along with the "adult language" used.
