1. We've had very few donations over the year. I'm going to be short soon as some personal things are keeping me from putting up the money. If you have something small to contribute it's greatly appreciated. Please put your screen name as well so that I can give you credit. Click here: Donations

  1. And there are a few here. Bless you for all you do.

Thanks to moms everywhere. Today is their day, in our presence or only in our thoughts.

And thanks to mine, I'm leaving soon to meet her for lunch.

Thanks for birthing me, Mom. You weren't much of a parent, but you gave me good genes and kept me alive long enough to learn to fend for myself.

I had a lovely breakfast this morning with my mother. She was very pleased. I did a good job cooking, but I must say my hubs did a great job cleaning the house and helping me set the table. It was great to see her so surprised and happy by the spread I put together for her.

Soon we'll be off for lunch with Grandma, followed by beers and music with my MIL. I feel very lucky today to have so much family to celebrate and honor. I have so many fantastic women in my life that deserve recognition, though. My only wish is that I could spend more of today with my aunties, who deserve credit for being fabulous women and wonderful mothers too.

Called my mom this morning to wish her a happy mother's day, and she spent a 1/2 hour ranting about the rednecks who are trying to gerrymander Buncombe county in N. Carolina. Effectively severing the only bastion of liberal voters in the state (Asheville, where she lives). God I love that woman.

My daughter posted a really sweet mother's day message on my facebook page. I don't know what I did to deserve such fabulous kids. All three of them. I just want to squeeze them to death. Well, not to death. Maybe just until they pass out. :p

fflowley Don't just do something, stand there!

My wife impressed me from the time we first met, but never so much as now that she is one incredible mommy.
And we celebrated last night, a few hours early.
Too sore now to enjoy National Masturbation Month today but I will make up for lost time later this week.

My son and daughter in law took both Mom's out for dinner and also invited the Dad's. :/ little uneasy, but my son sat next to me and focused on me. Love that kid. Two tours of Afghanistan did not change this kid, if anything it made him a good man and son! My other two kids were just as great, even though they live in Florida.

Many thanks to all moms on this site. You devote your lives and give your hearts and souls to the task of guiding your children to the goal of being good and honorable human beings. There is no greater calling, and I hope for each of you, that your recognition is not limited to one day a year. You are all amazing, and I salute you all.

I had a really wonderful and memorable first mother's day. Littlegirly turned from back to side in the morning. Then Tt made me pancakes for breakfast. We went to Mass where all our choir friends wanted to hold littlegirly. We went out to lunch, then visited with some friends who I haven't seen in months. It was a good way to spend the holiday.
