    Over 2000 years old, this is quite possibly the oldest, purest board game on the planet. Played on a 19x19 grid, black and white stones alternate and try to surround/capture/kill the opponent while securing territory for themselves. Whoever has the most territory at the end of the game wins, if one player doesn't resign before hand... It's customary to resign if it's clear you've lost the game.

    Anyone else play this game? I started playing seriously about four months ago. I'm still quite awful, but I'm trying hard to get better. I'm curious if anyone else has played this game or is curious in starting and providing some company as we get better. It's easy to learn the rules, but quite hard to master. .

    I know this is a shot in the dark, but if anyone ever wants to play just let me know. I would love to play, even if you beat me like a red-headed step child.
