Getting in touch with celebrities

While I have a particular aim I'd like to accomplish (I need to get express written permission from either Virgin Records, EMI Records, or 30 Seconds To Mars themselves to create a music video using their song), in general - of which celebrity would you love to be able to grab a moment of his or her time? What would you ask?

I've written a post to their forums but don't really imagine that it will be answered considering it seems they check it about once every six months. Searches for other contact info have come up fruitless so far .

P.S. I need to ask because I work for Riot Games, and the music video would be using League of Legends footage. If I were just a player it'd be fine but Riot evidently needs to hold personal works of its employees to a higher standard.

 

Write them a letter, on paper, and post it to the record companies involved. My mates boyfriend at the time used to manage a band, and for his birthday, my mate wanted to get their CD. He wrote to the record company, a nice letter like you could write. They did not have any copies of what must have been gathring dust on shelves about 20 yrs earlier, but burnt him one properly I guess it must have been - and they made him a proper one-off cover for it to go in. Cost? The paper, time and stamp. Mail rooms, post is sorted and sent on to the correct deparetment within a couple of hours of its arrival - used to be twice daily over here. Policy is generaly to deal with mail immediately.

 

Hm. Good idea . It never occurred to me to send a physical message. I was pondering how I could wrangle an e-mail address. Thanks!
