favorite apps for ipad

    i just got an ipad and would like to start making more use of it than just my kindle reader. don't really know where to start. i'm going to get a few games and fiddle with them this weekend and i think i'll get the astronomy one you can hold up and identify constellations with. also i might try that garage band one where you can play and record too.

    but i wondered if anyone else had some useful ones to recommend.

    Here's what I've been doing.

    Every day I go to iPad Apps, Free iPad Apps and iPad App Deals

    Each day I download whatever is for free. If it's good it stays if it's crap, it gets deleted. There's lots of crap out there, and I hate paying for crap.

    Since it's such a personal item, not like regular computer usage, I say it's much more highly personal. Now my wife and I both have iOS devices, she's on an iPhone and I have an iPad and an iPod touch. She does the same thing and she finds what is useful for her.

    thx for that link! i just checked it now and apparently it's one i have to add to my rotation of sites i check daily.

    also i played with some games and found a couple great free ones you guys might like...

    death rally- kind of like super sprint with guns
