Did you ever want to get chased by zombies? Here is your chance! At least if you live near or can travel to the Atlanta area.
Personally I would consider driving the 6 hours or so hours (what I heard, never actually tried it) from Jacksonville FL if I lived there still just to be a spectator at the very least.

 

I'm envisioning a lot of this....

Mmm, they have these kinda "Z-Day" events all over the country at various times. Whether it's a downtown 5k-type event or a mud run-style obstacle course, they're always fundraisers for something noble, typically involve delicious adult beverages and feature actors and volunteers designed to impress George Romero. Last year I missed one in South Carolina and in Maryland. My work schedule really sucks sometimes. Gonna do one soon.

I feel SO out of touch with society today (even more than usual). I'm not into zombies or vampires (beyond perhaps Anne Rice). I suspect it means I'll end one of the first victims, but that's life (or death, or whatever zombies are).

 

I would like to participate if it were ever held in my area.

 

I've always wanted to have sex with a zombie. Nothing beats cracking open a cold one.

That was the best hacker incident ever i remember this made front page news, the city was flooded with calls from people panicking ... people ACTUALLY panicked!! idiots!!

 

What might make it more fun is having paintball guns to shoot at them with, while running.

 

i missed the one in SC (if you were talkin USMC Mud Run) too, (sports hernia) but my coworkers ran in it, and did pretty good. it was a messy muddy slop fest by the end, but it looked like a blast. never heard the zombie corelation made, but thats funny...
