Diablo III (spoilers if you havent played it and care about the plot)

    I just played this game.

    Is there any way you can save Leah? I was kind of disappointed how quick it was (it took 15 hours to play the whole game, on my first character)

    I think I would replay it and see if I can beat it as a different class (I played a mage) but I dont want to go through it all again for the girl I've been trying to save and work with the whole while getting possessed by Diablo again.

    The last boss fight was a bit easy cos he just goes through the same rotation again and again and once you've learned it I just run away from him, freeze him, blast him, run away from him, etc etc and son can't lay a finger on me. But I enjoyed the last level fighting through heaven to get to him. I played on "normal" so its probably a lot more challenging at the next difficulty level.

    It's like all blizzard games, the first part of the game isn't really the game. It is simple enough to play and then to really play it on the harder levels is absolutely nuts. Hardcore mode, shit I haven't even tried it yet.

    The story is the same, but as you progress there are side quests where the story unfolds a little more explanation and embellishment here and there. The mobs get harder and have more spells and abilities. New mobs also appear. Bosses have different patterns and spells.


    I think one day I'll try hardcore mode...

    Just imagine how pissed off you'd be if you get right to the end and then killed just before the last fight.

    I kind of like the idea of it, cos it must make the game a lot more tense... but I think it would do my head in!

    if you're looking for more to do with that format, i tried Path of Exile (free to play) and enjoyed it so far. it's built very similar to diablo but also has some wow elemements in there. i don't know how top-notch the story will be, but it could be fun.
