I have a close frind from Sudan. He is very angry with the regime leaders in Africa making dirty buisness with companies from Europe and USA. For long i didn't quite understand what he was going on about. Till yesterday when I saw this journalistic video disclosing the buisness of a Swedish oil-company in Sudan. How the oil-company and the regime together executed a genocide to secure the land where oil was found. The Swedish foreign minister supported the operation and was a big stock owner in the oil-company. My question is: Can we trust our leaders? My answer is no. We have to practice critical thinking, Develop our own genuin oppinions. And make conscious choises (when we inverst our pension monney etc. How do the pension fonds make my monney grow?) The video is long, but just watching 10 minutes gives you a grip on what they're trying to say.

I don't know what trollin means. But i'm no troll. I'm serious and sincere. Do you have anything to say on the subject of this thread?

Subject is: Can we trust our leaders? Why is there cash in the north and genocide in the south?

I get what you're saying Manic, but this is the third version of this thread, and it's something that bow35 wants to discuss. I'm not sure that's possible, but it's now met the minimum standard, so we'll see what the rest of the board has to say about it.
