Can We Get the Politics Forum Back, Pretty Please?

I know we're supposed to have "X number of discussions first" for a forum to reappear, but "Tilted Exhibition" has 4 discussions and no posts for several days. There may not be 30 different political threads, but the threads that do exist (racism/sexism, debt ceiling, etc.) have dozens of posts.

Perhaps there would be more political posts if there was a forum first....

 

Yeah, if I can't get a Block User feature, can we at least get Tilted Politics to house the crazies?

Because we're very protective of TE and enforce the rules in entirely different ways. It exists with entirely different rules than the rest of TFP - i.e. negative comments will cost you your access as will asking for more - and we're less likely to give access to folks and quicker to take it away.

I'll try to get to it this afternoon, but no promises.

Now roachboy, we all know that there are more flames/insults in one "How is obama doing"/"My opinion about (blank) is always right" thread than all of tilted BANGBANG combined.

We have had this conversation before about the posters in TP. People who post normally elsewhere will drop an insult in a second if it's in Tilted Cesspool. This is why I ignore anything politic related on the board.

I'm just saying that it works both ways, in that once you establish a forum for Politics, it will encourage more threads to be made. I think it was pretty clear at TFP 4.0 that the forum's existence was justified

 

Having a Politics/Philosophy/Econ forum would be great
