Not awful advice but the most blatant error, of course, is in linking child predatory behavior with homosexuality. Unfortunately, correlating one with the other is still done.

Seeing things like this is a good thing, it helps to understand where we are today and to see the mindsets and snapshots of yesterday. While most of it is tripe, it's not uncommon to see many of these same thoughts permeating society today. Whether it's someone proclaiming marijuana is a gateway drug, niggers rape white women on sight, or all fags are predators, it's a snapshot and it's not all that far from how most people in Amurika still act and think. I would venture to say that the majority of people still harbor thoughts like these, they've just learned to mask them in an envelope of political correctness and smiles rather than ill-messaged PSAs and hate speech.

 

I agree, Glory's Sun, I don't believe the pendulum of tolerance and understanding has swung far enough (if at all) towards either. Willful ignorance, racism, and bigotry have merely slid themselves slightly under the topsoil of Merkan discourse.
