So its pretty simple. Post your best mixed drinks you can think of.

The mixed drink I have the most fun with is:

    Baltimore Zoo
    1 shot vodka
    1 shot light rum
    1 shot gin
    1 shot triple sec
    1 shot peach liqueur
    1 shot amaretto almond liqeur
    1 shot grenadine syrup
1 dash sweet and sour mix
    1 Labatt

Mixed in a 5 glass pitcher.

There is 3-4 bars around my area that make it and I have also made some myself. Always a good time.

My wife digs my French Martini.

    3 parts premium vodka
    2 part pineapple juice
    1 part Chambord

Mix in cold shaker with ice and pour into a frozen martini glass. Garnish with a cherry and slice of pineapple.

    Panty dropper for sure. :D

So whats the point of the triple sec, or other kinds of sec ? Does it really make a difference to the taste, if you're not a connoisseur? Most basic mixed drinks I put so much vodka/rum/whiskey and sugar from fruit or juices that it doesn't seem to make a difference to me, if you add the triple sec or not..

  4. Childrens Special - adults not allowed it by order of the barmaid - (makes it more special)
Pour some juice out of the marrachino cherry jar, add half a tot of orange, of blackcurrant, and lime. Top up to half pint with fizzy lemonade and ice. Decorate with straws and cherries on sticks with slices of lemon or orange. If you live in a country without fizzy lemonade, try soda water.
Tastes rather like melted ice lollys.

I love a simple Gin and Tonic but sometimes the mood strikes and I want a Gin Buck.

    Gin Buck
    1 1/2 oz gin
    1/4 oz lemon juice
4 oz (or to taste) ginger beer
Build in highball glass with ice and stir until cold, serve.

I couldn't find a good strong ginger beer here. Strong like you get in the Jamaican groceries back in Toronto, so I ended up making my own Ginger Beer (non-alcoholic). Spicy is good!

For those paying attention, a Gin Buck is like a Moscow Mule but with gin instead of vodka.

  6. Do you remember The Monkeys? If you ever have Davey Jones over, this is his fave tipple -
Proper cider and proper ginger beer - half and half. Like adding a pinch of ginger to apple pie. I quite like it.

I love a good Manhattan for special occasions, as in to celebrate something slightly more interesting than any ordinary day at the office. Bourbon on the rocks makes me happy any time.

Sweet tea vodka (I've had Seagrams before) and lemonade.

Or, SoCo and ice tea (with lemon). They're both awesome drinks and quick to mix.

Crown and a little 7-UP on the rocks in a tall glass - and speaking of rain, we got a little over a half inch tonight - that's a fourth of what we've had total since January 1.

I'm constantly amazed at the popularity of Crown Royal in the U.S. I mean, it is pretty good. But what is it like compared to American counterparts? Is the stuff you get down there distilled down there, or is it imported? Is it a price thing?

Crown, like all Canadians is blended - makes it a lot less harsh than the stuff made in the U.S. In my opinion, Maker's Mark is the best domestic bourbon - but I prefer Crown over anything else.

Young? Single? Don't know what to drink that won't turn off the ladies if they're sober enough to smell anything during the makeouts?

    Dead Nazi
    - 50% Rumple Minze
    - 50% Jagermeister

    Starry Night
    - 50% Goldschlager
    - 50% Jagermeister

The first one is a little like emergency mouthwash, the second one is kinda like stale cinnamon-flavored chewing gum.

    ...

I'm a Jack Daniel's and Diet Coke guy, myself. I drink fancy beer for the flavor. I drink liquor to get (more) stupid(er).

    ...

Goddamnit, now I have this song playing in the office. Lemme call you on my work phone so we can get in a duet.
