A publisher making a contribution to uncle phil and no-kill shelters

I usually don't make any kind of deals with people about TFP, but this one was something that I couldn't pass up. The timing worked and so did the publisher. If you remember last year, this same publisher offered our community members some free ebooks. This year, I've worked out a deal in conjunction with the launch of 2 of their anthologies.

Here's the breakdown:
Buy a book from the retailers below and here's what will happen.

• 10% of every purchase will go straight to animals in need. The CQ team has selected humane societies on both the East and West coast that spend well and do not stray from their “no-kill” policies.
• 10% of the publishers cut will be donated to the memory of uncle phil and the causes he outlined. If you don't recall, it's a hospice and his HS golf club.

We've got a sizable donation ready, will you contribute by purchasing a book and/or making a direct donation?

I wasn't nearly as close with our dear uncle phil as some of our members here, but I sure as hell respected the man. It's hard not to see the impact he had on our little group -- I still see his avatar daily, a year after his passing.

I like the idea of raising money for charity through selling books. I think he would have too.
