    Maybe if it were 4,000 active members. But as it stands, we don't have nearly that many participants.

    Yes. I've never understood why people register on a forum and never post.

    Do some posting and decide move on, yes.

    Never post, no.

    Registering on some forums gives better access. I know that I registered on a couple because a guest couldn't do searches. I found the info that I wanted, but never did post.

    I'm guessing computers, basically programs that find easy-to-register-at sites. Some of the resulting posts are clearly pre-written spam, but some sound like real people. Such as the posts where the "you should shop at this site!" doesn't start until after a couple of normal posts.

    I've seen many sites that require the security code. Ebay uses one if you try to contact a seller.
