2012 March Madness

I know of some people who don't even acknowledge basketball until March, but I watch it as soon as the first tip-off of both NCAA and NBA seasons.

March Madness is amazing and a great deal of productivity is lost. It's worth it. I have a number of brackets going during the tournament. I always have a well thought out bracket that I use for gambling. I also have my "If the world loved me" bracket where I pick the teams I WANT to win. That one doesn't get me far. Actually, the money one doesn't get me far. I'll probably be in an online pool with my brother and his friends. They don't like me very much after I destroyed them during the College Football Bowl pick game though. I'll probably also wager against the roommates.

If you have a bracket that you'd like to share, please do so here. If during the tournament you have gripes, post away. Chances are there are several TFPers with the same heartache.

5 Days before the start of the tournament, are there any predictions?

HA! I JUST got an email from CBS Sports reminding me to enter my bracket this year.

 

Next question: Is Kentucky going to steamroll the whole bracket this year?

 

I was amused to see the WSU Cougars bounced out of any possible contention this year after losing their first post-season game. I generally either route against or ignore the local teams here.
I have and still follow the Oregon teams to some extent though no matter where in the country I have lived. Especially the Trailblazer on the pro level.

I'm really effing pissed. Montana? I didn't put them on my bracket. I KNOW I DIDN'T. There is no way in HELL I would have chosen them over WI. But there it is...clear as day. Montana.

I hate technology. My jittery hands probably did a little flippy thing and picked them. I checked my bracket. MULTIPLE times. I'm in a bad mood. I would have had a perfect bracket to this point.

At least the anger towards my bracket started early.
