Help finding a holster

I am looking for a holster for my new Sig Sauer 226ST.

Here is what I am looking for:
1. Fully covers the trigger
2. Has some sort of snap that must be release before the gun will draw
3. Black
4. I want to carry SOB

I have been having trouble finding one that matches all these criteria.
Help would be appreciated.

I'm jonsing for a Galco SOB, but will the ST fit?

Also, Kydex vs. Leather. Discuss.

Almost and holster that you can think of will match what you want. Each holster maker offers holsters for different guns. Stop by their websites and see what guns their models support.

As for leather vs kydex, I personally prefer kydex. It does not hold moisture, easy to clean, and is usually thinner than leather

I like leather, don't get me wrong. It has a lot of good features. It simply feels better for one thing, and nothing is quite like a really quality piece of leather work. Kydex, however, is so FAR more efficient for carry purposes in the Real World that I would say go Kydex, hands down.

Finding a kydex holster with a button snap is actually pretty tough. Most holsters emphasize fast draws.

SOB holsters are also less common then I would like...

Go to www.FIST-inc.com

They make awesome holsters out of super thin kydex and leather.

They make each holster to order, and will put on any kind of thumb-break/retention devices you need as well as body-guards, etc.

Their regular kydex holsters are very thin, smooth, and molded to the exact shape of your weapon. They bulge much less than leather, and are far more positive.

Everybody I have spoken to that has one of their holsters loves it. I have their K-1 kydex holster for my usp and I am about to order a couple of others for a new pistol I just purchased.

Since I have holsters from several custom makers for my Sigs, Glocks and Kimber I have found that Jim Murnack from FIST is one of the most accomidating makers around. I have an SOB. They are not the fastest anyway and trying to break your weapon free even with one way snaps could cost you enough time to lose your life. If you are worried about retention talk to FIST about putting in a spring steel retainer that goes over the trigger guard. Also most kydex holosters can be set up with tension screws that can be tightened to your desired feel. Hope this helps.

Don't know if you're still in the market, but...

Go there, look at the SOC rig - watch the video. I played with one this past weekend, and it absolutely ROCKS. Quickest draw of anything I've tried, and VERY secure. The one I tried for a Beretta M9/92FS didn't even have a strap across the hammer or slide, and it WOULD NOT BUDGE unless you hit the release switch with your thumb.

High-speed gear costs high-speed money, though, so don't look at the SOC rig unless you're ready to drop about $150.

The standard G-Code paddle holsters are good shit also, and much cheaper. I'd highly recommend a lowering adapter if you get one, though - unless you're used to the butt of the pistol being in your ribs for belt carry.

I currently use a standard G-Code holster for my Hi-power when doing reloading or drawing drills, and it's damn nice. Smooth.
