Tactical Flashlights
Purpose: REALLY COOL FLASHLIGHT
I usually forgot my flashlight went i went camping, i had a decent flash light nothing to great but a good camping light. recently i got this one as a gift to myself and it's COOL. Inova X5 http://www.tacticalflashlights.com/f...cs/X5MT-WB.jpg besides just being cool flashlights, most tactical flashlights are nearly indestructible, and if necessary could be used as weapons, or you could just temporarily blind an attacker either way i think they are cool and i just wanted to share |
looks like a 5 shooter rifle barrel... now that would be crazy!

While the LED's are tempting, I think I'll hold out for a Surefire with a regular high pressure xenon bulb.
While the batteries won't last nearly as long, I'll only be using for emergencies. I have my 6 cell maglite for regular duty. |
LED lights aren't bright enough for me. I bought a Surefire E2e and I love it!

My old Surefire 6P would regularly put out as much light as a friend's 12v spotlight.
Surefire all the way. |

and you can find infoz on most good flashlights out there. I really love my streamlight luxeon task light... uses one Luxeon LED which is 10x as bright as a normal LED... uber battery life, pure white light, and has one hell of a throw... twas about $35 shipped from amazon.com |
I think I'll stick to my $9 AA Maglite. :D

A friend of mine has that 5-led light. It is far from tactical, and far from rugged. Within three days one of the LED's had died. Since it was going in for repair anyway, we decided to beat on it a little. We got three of the other LED's out.
I wouldn't trust my life with it. Now, Surefire.... |
