New Blue/Nickel P-22
Well, my previous Black 2002 P-22 was stolen out of my friends car,
Serial # L010441 I was in the process of suppressing it and the P-22 adapter was already bought. I have an SP-22 which blows so I really wanted another P-22. The mil price is hard to beat but if you want a special model you have to call the mil sales guy. I saw this blue one at a gun show and liked it. The other option was a graphite finish or the standard OD green and black. Which most of my guns already are. Since this was for pure target and training I figured a nice HALO-2 type color would be a good change. The rep at Smith&Wesson said it was a special order by a distributor but a month later he managed to get me one for the mil price. So here it is, I have yet to shoot it but it should handle just like the other P-22. :) http://photos.imageevent.com/remy149.../IMG_4140b.jpg http://photos.imageevent.com/remy149.../IMG_4139b.jpg http://photos.imageevent.com/remy149...e/IMG_2719.JPG |
Now, if you can actually find some ammo for it.
Nice gun, really digging the color. Does it match your blue MJOLINR armor? :D |
Wally world here always has stockpiles of Redbox federal 500rds and even the 300rd Federal AutoMatch, which is a little overpowered for semi autos, the P-22 really needs stronger 22LR ammo to cycle well.
It can go with the purple covenant 10/22 my free-time goal one day is to mold, shape or carve the HALO rifle to put a 10/22 into. Wish there was an airsoft version to rip off. http://photos.imageevent.com/remy149...7A%201013A.jpg |
That's surprisingly beautiful. I like it! The Ruger, too!

Is it me or does that scope on the 10/22 looks like it's way far back on the rifle?

The cheekrest on that stock is pretty far back, its a right hand only weld.

Did my first post in this thread get deleted or am I just hallucinating?
