I am sure there is a way or a program. There have been people who have upgraded their HDD's in the Tivo so they can store a lot more programs.

wouldn't it be easier just to get a tv card? ATI cards come with an automatic TV guide, and then you don't have to worry about making tivo talk to the desktop.

you need to browse the "dealdatabase" tivo forums:

http://www.dealdatabase.com/forum/

heard about it on a techie radio show. *everything* tivo can be found in there.

Tivo Desktop 2.0. It's a free download from TiVo and allows you to use your personal Media Key to pull shows from your TiVo to your computer.

This link provides all the information you need to know about TiVo To Go.

I'm not sure TivoToGo will work with Directv tivo's unless they have been modded. I am not positive but I am definitely going to find out.

For instance, last time I checked home media option is not dtv tivo compatible.

Directv tivos have to be hacked in order to get them to transfer to the PC.

there is NO tivo-to-go or network experience out of the box for DirecTV Tivos.
