Buying a DVD+/-RW Dual Layer Drive

I've done some research and found this very nice external DVD writer on newegg.com. I pretty much like everything about it. The only thing that bothers me is the manufacturer, which I have never heard before - Fantom Drives. Does anyone have any experience with their products? Also, do you see anything that could be better about the writer (I might have missed something)? Thanks.

I have used Sony and Plextor, and had no problems with either what so ever. You might look at cdrinfo.com for more information.

Fantom is probably just some no-name off brand.

LG makes a good cheap DVD writer that has many features and good reviews.

Edit: DOH! Disregard my post.. I didn't see the word external. I dunno =/

NEC is pretty much the best route with DVD burners unless you want to pay extra for the Sony, etc. That Fantom one is much more expensive too.. never heard of them.

There's the one I would recommend. Actually, I installed one in my room-mate's PC last week, and I just bought one last night.
