Tutorial needed on TV decoder design
I am looking for a tutorial or book or website (checked google, does not seem to come up with anything useful) that covers building a TV decoder. Basially I want to take in the composite TV/Audio signal, separate the components and the sync pulses and then output an X/Y waveform (to control the horizontal and vertical alignment on an oscilloscope or TV) and a brightness component to control the actual picture, the signals I will be decoding are black and white so colour TV control is not needed (though it would be cool). Any ideas on where to look or any suggestions? |

| Insane | Yeah, wanna look over it and build one, doing it as a project at uni however I want to make a better one than just the simple ones I could build right now, I suppose I am really looking for good circuit designs for small signal amplifiers... was hoping that a commercial quality Tv would have some of these type of things in them so I could get an idea of what I am looking for. |
