				Dying LCD screen

The family computer's 2 year old 17" LCD monitor seems to have crapped out overnight, but not. I press the power button on the monitor to turn it on, it flashes the windows desktop momentarily then blacks out. Figuring it could be a Windows thing, I restart, and the monitor continues to do the same thing, only flashing the screen whenever the resolution changes on startup. Assuming it could be a video card problem, I plug my laptop into the monitor and the monitor has the same problem.

Luckily I had a 17" CRT monitor sitting in my room and it's temporarily on a tiny desk where the slim LCD used to stand. Anyone have any idea wtf happened to my LCD? Thanks.
