Anyone used the Viewsonic ve170?
It's their 17" LCD moniter if you haven't seen it. I'm considering an upgrade from this old 10" CGA moniter I have...
 If you've used this one, how does it perform? Any ghosting of the image? Any trouble with your eyes after long periods of use? I just wish I could afford an Apple 23" Studio Display... -sigh-

I am using the Viewsonic VE155b right now.....and it is the best money I have spent in a long time. I got it right before Christmas, and since then, iI have come to realize why LCD's are superior. I was getting headaches with my old (cheap) CRT, and since I have switched, no more! I am not a heavy gamer, but I play 3-4 hours a week, on average (SOF, SOF2, Comanche4, GTA3, FMS{RC Flight Sim}, etc.) and I can't see much ghosting at all.
All in all, you should have no problems with that monitor! AKirk |
