Something I'd like to see added to GMail

I like gow GMail has "auto-complete" when typing in email addresses, and also recognizes the names based on your Address Book, but I think it would be nice if they had the ability to add a bunch of people at once; something similiar to Yahoo Mail, where the address book pops open in a new window and allows you to put checks in the contacts you wish to send the email out to.

Also, does anyone know if GMail intends to allow the creation of HTML emails, or are the purposely going to keep the compose mail interface as simple, and not flashy?

You have that option in GMail ... select Contacts on the left menu bar, click the boxes next to who is to be mailed, and press Compose.
They also have this information in the GMail: Help Center
