Bit Torrent install problem?
I've been using Bit Torrent and Suprnova.org for about 5 months now, and no problems. Today I tried a couple of the other clients that were recommended in another thread, and couldn't get any of them set up the way I wanted, so after I tried each one I uninstalled it. Finally decided to go back to the base client, and tried to download a movie off suprnova, and nothing popped up, but I got an error page. Ok, no worries, uninstalled and reinstalled Bit Torrent, and tried again. Same thing happened... Any ideas?

save file and then open it with one of the clients(azuerus=my favorite) your mime types are probably weird.

Word. After re-installing whatever Bit Torrent client you're using, you should use the client's built-in file association check, if so equipped, and/or change the file association type for *.torrent extensions to whatever Bit Torrent client your using. For instance on XP, open My Computer, click Tools, select Folder Options, then choose the File Types tab. Here, you will need to scroll down and find the *.torrent extension (in alphabetical order). Click on *.torrent, click the Change button, browse to your Bit Torrent client's executable, check the box that says "always use the selected program to open this kind of file", and click Ok, and click OK again. Now, when you click on a *.torrent file, it should have the association to be opened with your Bit Torrent client. Hope this helps.

Hmmm, couldn't find a entry for a .torrent file, so I reinstalled Azureus for the time being, I figured out how to get it to work, just wish I could set it for 1-click downloading like the base client. It's such a resource pig too...

I had a similar problem wit base client.. if you clear recent internet files, sometimes, the error goes away...
