I have a small problem where I work. We can access some industry related websites (like maybe 10) and any .org site. My Job is insanely boring and inbetween calls I need something to do. So I recently discovered the joys of proxy servers to get on to the websites they have blocked. what my problem is though is that I have 2 Proxy servers I have been able to find. One is a www.mehrdad.org server and the other is a kine.dyndns.org server.

The Mehrdad is the better of the 2 but in late afternoon it usually is down for what I coud only imagine being Maintanance. and the Kine.dyndns is just really slow for where I am.

Does anyone know of any other Proxy servers with a .org that I can use to surf the internet from work?

I can only suggest Google for "open public proxy" (without the quotes) or something along those lines.

I tried that, but unfortunatly alot of them are dead links now. or they come up as .net or .com or they are an IP server. They have to be .org sites. anyhtning I have found on google has been about setting up your own proxy server at home.

And, assuming that your home computer has a good connection, you can always set up your own. I've used AnalogX's proxy server (http://www.analogx.com/contents/down...work/proxy.htm) with much success. Slight warning though, It doesn't play nice with firefox unless you tweak some settings.
