Best time to buy a cell phone
 

Does anyone know when the new models come out and the older ones are discounted? Or even if the cell companies do that? I need a new one but can wait and im not looking for cutting edge stuff.

Generally every quarter new cells come out. So you gotta figure about every 3-4 months. How much are you looking to pay for a cell phone? What providers are in your area? I just got a new phone, and love mine. Honestly, you can get better deals on-line than if you went to a local store. Recently I got a Sony Ericsson T637 through AT&T Wireless for almost nothing, but if I woulda bought it at a local store it woulda cost $199 + tax.

Also, what kind of phone do you want? A flip phone or not? Personally, I hate flippers. They look like stupid ass clamshells.
