sound is GONE

running xp with sb live 5.1 card

sound was working great until I installed the tsunami filter pack so that I could watch a few movie clips, but when it screwed up my video, I uninstalled it and it took out my sound completely.

I've reinstalled drivers and the filter pack and i still have no sound.. wtf

codecs can Perma-Fuck your computer. I've had to format and re-install Windows twice because of them.

I'd say to un-install the codecs or filters, but you already did it. it usually doesn't work anyway....

try doing System Restore, if that doesn't work, then it's format time :(
