IE picture saving issue

I think this probably has a simple awnser, but it seems to be escaping me.

On this computer, when I save an image in IE, I don't have any option but bitmap and the filename defaults to "untitled" as opposed to whatever the original name of the image might have been. How do I change this back to what it used to be, when 'saving as' had the filename and proper extension?

Tools-->Internet Option--> Delete files

Happened to me a month ago, cleared my temp files and worked fine after that.
