IE Loader

So, my roommate asks me to help him get rid of some junk on his computer. I run my cleaning trifecta (Spy-Bot, Ad-Aware, & AVG) 784 pieces of spyware and virus infected files later, he's feeling suitably ashamed for not doing this earlier... but I have one little bugger that I can't seem to get rid of: IELoader. Everytime I run ad-aware, it finds a registry key and a few files. Every.Time. Also, most of the time on both boot up, and when he opens IE, the System32 directory opens up. I suspect that this is a side-effect of the malware writing to that directory. I'm stumped, so I thought that I'd ask you guys for help.

In I.E.

Go to Tools > Internet Option > Advanced Tab.

Under the Browsing Headline, go down to "Enable Third Party Browser Extension (Requires Restart). By unchecking that box, the next time that you launch Internet Explorer, none of the other programs that usually get launched with I.E. is launched will not be initiated. It is a great troubleshooting tool to see if you have malware, spyware and a whole bunch of other shit if you have it installed on your computer. If you have any questions, message me.
