Good Digital Video Camera
 
I'm looking to start goofing around and making some short movies. I was just wondering if anyone had any personal experience with a good DV camera. Preferably keep it under 600. I have a dream camera I want but at this point i'm poor.

I have a sony cybershot p-72, it's a regular digital camera but can record movies with sound, that's what I use

my sony trv740 works really well for me. Its got plenty of bells and whistles for the amateur and is a good quality camera

I also have the P-72 and love it! However, as far as the video clips feature, I wouldn't use it for Digital Video Recording. I also have a JVC GR-DVF10 miniDV camcorder and the quality from the P-72 clips don't even compare to the superior camcorder video quality.

In regards to the thread, how much $ are you willing to spend?
