most manufacturers don't make pigtail cards anymore.. you'll have to try to find some old ones...

Check out NetGate: http://www.netgate.com/NL2511.html

Check out ReliaWave
(200mW): http://www.demarctech.com/products/r...mcia-card.html
(100mW): http://www.demarctech.com/products/r...mcia-card.html
(30mW): http://www.demarctech.com/products/r...mcia-card.html

I'm sure there's more out there. Why would you want one?

Mr Mephisto

Perhaps he's got a laptop that'll be in a variety of locations, sometimes needing signal amplification, sometimes not.

proxim . orinocco gold 802.11 b/g combo card then you'll need a pigtail and antenna

heres a little kit for a car , cable and card for $150

I agree, the Orinocco cards are probably your best bet. Strong signal without external antenna, but with a connector for one if you need it.

interesting.... hmmm
