You guys were a big help with my first question. Now I have another one for you. My USB ports just stopped working. I have no idea why and I don't know what to do to fix them. The printer doesn't work my mouse doesn't work and I don't know what to do. I tried uninstalling them and reinstalling them but that didn't work any ideas?

Did you recently format your computer and reinstall an operating system, or upgrade your operating system?

did you uninstall your keyboard and mice? if you havent, uninstall the usb ports and let windows redetect them on the next boot.

I haven't reformatted recently and I tried uninstalling everything.

Same thing happened to my roomate's laptop, his computer is currently in texas getting rebuilt. Theyve had it for 3 weeks. Im pretty sure it was the actual hardware in his case, hopefully you work something out.

Check that they are enabled in the Bios. If you have flashed a new bios, installed memory etc, this can revert some settings back to OFF on some systems. Some bios's will revert to a safe mode if the system had a hard crash.
