smart ripper quits early
I use Smart Ripper to pull vob files off DVDs prior to converting them to avi files. Occasionally (and this seems to be happening more and more often) the program will finish and display the "Rip complete" box, but when I check the folder, only half of the files will be there, and the last one will be incomplete. I then have to start the process again, selecting only the files that have not been completed.
anyone else ever have gthis problem? does this have something to do with the DVD itself? or is there a glitch in the program? hardware problem? I have been having some ram issues that make me suspect my ram is flawed. could this be the trouble? windows98se sony ddu1621 dvd drive 128mb of pc100 ram on 2 sticks 128mb of pc133 ram on 1 stick

I dont know about the ripping issues, but if you think that you have been having problems with your ram, download and run a ram checking tool. I have used <a href=http://www.memtest86.com/">this one</a> before and it seems to work pretty well--it found an error in one of my sticks a while back that once replaced, fixed all the screwy problems I had been having.
