Issues with Playing Movie
If anyone has ever gotten a TMD Movie they know what to do, I'm having problems playing it cause the codec won't install on my computer.
I have Windows XP. Thank you. |
assuming its a perfectly legal copy... :)
try to do a google search for the "nimo codec" it is a collection of codecs that allows you to play vids that are encoded in unusual formats. having that and xvid codec are essentials for playing a lot of files. also, if you try multiple players (WMP, Divx, Winamp, etc.), that sometimes does trick. |
please see this thread (esp. before installing nimo)

I installed some of the codecs that were recommended, and it still doesn't work.
Here is what the GSpot looks like: http://members.cox.net/al9045/gspot.JPG |
Could anyone show me where to get those codecs?
Thanks. |

Should I uninstall the ones I just installed and should I install more than one codec they listed?
Thanks. EDIT: This one file in the TMD/SMR codec keeps coming back, even if I delete it or overwrite it. I think that is the reason they will not play the file is: MPG4C32.DLL. If anyone has a fix for this, please tell me. |
Sorry, Bump.

um, a couple things... (sorry i cannot be more exact and helpful, but i've never had a codec problem and everything i d/l (lots) is 'standard' or whatever) have you googled yet? i searched for 'tmd movie' and another search for 'MPG4C32.DLL' and it appears that you will find some information...pls let that be your next step, if you've not already done so. |
Ok, lemme check.
Thanks for all your help. |
EDIT: Wrong file name, it is actually the mpg4ds32.ax file that is causing me trouble.
