Microsoft Alphanumeric Characters?
Does anyone know what the list of characters is that Microsoft uses for its product keys? Say Windows or XP. I know windows is a 25- alphanumeric key and I think XP is a 20-alphanumeric key. Anyone see a "list" of characters anywhere? I am not asking for an actual "Key" but just the characters that are used. Thanks!
ps. Like they might keep "O" but drop "zero" because its looks too similiar. |
Nevermind! I found it. :)
Each character is one of the following 24 letters and digits: B C D F G H J K M P Q R T V W X Y 2 3 4 6 7 8 9 |
lol, WHY would u need something like this ;)

because its pretty to look at? :p or if someone wanted to make a random access-code generator for some purpose it wouldn't be a bad idea straying from some characters. I figure Microsoft's standards would be a neat place to start.

the problem with those characters is that 'B' looks like '8', and 'G' looks like '6' especially when written down.
