clicking sound in Internet Explorer - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

ok we all know about IE , when you click a link it makes the clicking sound... but now for me it doesn't make the sound anymore, and I like the clicking sound. How can I get it back? thanks`

go to control panel -> sounds.

now click on the "Sounds" tab.

go down to the windows explorer section and make sure that a file called "Windows XP Start.wav" is selected as the sound file.

I'd like to keep mine off, but it always seems like it's reseting. Maybe when I get new Sound drivers or something? Ah well, only takes a few seconds.
