				When trying to delete mpg..
I get the message: Error Deleting File or Folder Cannot delete (Filename): It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again. ----------- Now there is really nothing running that would be using this mpg. I checked running processes.. It has happened with more than one mpg. oddly enough the old one it used to happen on now got successfully deleted but this new one that i d/l says the same thing. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. |

| Insane | To correct this misbehavior in Windows XP, remove the following registry key. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREClassesCLSID{87D62D94-71B3-4b9a-9489-5FE6850DC73E}InProcServer32 This will prevent Explorer from loading shmedia.dll in response to file property queries on these files.

| Stop. Think. Question. Location: Redondo Beach, CA | By default, Windows will show you a thumbnail preview on the left pane of the open window. This is what is causing the file to be open, and thus, not erasable. You can switch folders views (Tools | Folder Options), try viewing Details (View | List), or delete from the command line. These methods won't hold the file open so it'll be easily deleted.
