IP's
 

i'm havin a lil trouble finding my ip.

i got win xp and i'm finding 2 of 'em.


1) i go to start->run->cmd->ipconfig

and that gives me one ip


2) now i go to www.whatismyip.com and it gives me another.

i'm confused.

are you on a home network? if so, the IP givin by ipconfig is the IP given out by your router. The whatismyip.com IP is your WAN IP, or the ip given to you by your service provider

also try ipconfig /all

that will list all your adapters and details
