Converting MDS Files to AVI or MPEG to play on a Screenplay HD through the TV

I used DVD Shrink and DVD decrypter to rip DVDs onto my computer. There are a few VOB files and an MDS file for each movie. I want to convert that to an AVI or MPEG format so I can transfer it to my Screenplay HD which plays movies through the TV. Screenplay does not support MDS format. Can anyone help on what program I can use or what I can do? Thanks

A quick search on Google found this: Convert VOB to AVI - VOB to AVI Converter Free Download

Hope that helps.
