Need help with audio electronics question..

Hey guys, I was wondering if there's such thing as a (cheap) adapter for a 3.5 audio jack that would fit a standard straight headphone jack into a curvey/L bend style jack. Here's a picture of what I mean:

I want this sort of elbow joint, but not all headphones come with it. Is there something I could use? Preferably something from a local place like Radio Shack? Not sure if it exists, or if it does, if there is a name for it...

Thanks!

If such a thing does exist, RS would have it...I'm a bit of a tech junkie, I must have every kind of jack plug adapter piggyback adapter RCA cable there is, but I don't think that I've ever seen that kind of adapater...Go to RS, head to where the RCA adapters are and check those little packets to see if you can find it...

Just to clarify, you want what's pictured above except instead of a headphone line there's a female 3.5? Like this?

I think Willravel found the exact item haha.

another source:

Audio Adapters and Mini Plugs from Audiogear.com

Look a little less than halfway down.

Exactly! I assume 1/8=3.5 mini stereo jack for headphones? But yeah that's perfect if it'll take. :D Thanks a ton guys. I think yours will work as well, Shakran; nice find but I'm hoping to find a local source as it seems like a shame to order and ship a 3$ item to Canada. :)

Yes, I'm like 99.9% sure 3.5mm = 1/8" in the jack world. Glad to have been of service.

Yeah, same thing. If you're really adventurous you can chop the end and solder on your own, but that's probably overkill.

The first picture is not of a audio jack, this is something else, 3.5 audio jack only has 2 rings or 3 sections (left, right and ground) this has 3 rings or 4 sections (could be: left, right, video and ground).

Er its for illustrative purposes. To be more accurate, that jack is for my headphones with integrated mic for my blackberry, but that is the sort of joint-elbow I'm looking to use.
