Media Sharing Sites w/o Copyright Filters?

I made a video that I want to share at another message board, but it uses a Metallica song, and despite renaming the file and clearing all of the details from the file, it gets recognized by the copyright filters of YouTube, PhotoBucket, SendSpace, etc.

Is there a media sharing that will host this without filtering it?

Personal web host. Don't leave home without it. http://dreamhost.com/

Either try MP3 Tag Studio or convert the MP3 into WMA and then back MP3. Copyright bit will be gone.

Uh...if I understand correctly, he's using it as a sound track for a video. The sites are probably doing some sort of recognition program, so doing format conversion isn't going to help.

yep, I tried converting from several different formats, renaming the file, clearing the info, etc. Doesn't work. I'll try some of these other sites.

I don't need to host if forever. I have my own web site that I barely use any bandwidth/storage on, so I may just use that.

what format is your video encoded in?

You'll get better quality from vimeo than you will the other sites.... but you can't embed or hotlink the HQ from them unless you pay and allow it. Even their SD stuff is better than what you'll get from the others though.

oh.. well I guess it doesn't really matter about the quality then..

vimeo should let you upload it no matter what the soundtrack is

I didn't mean for that quality bit to sound that bad..

I was just saying it's not like a broadcast quality mpeg or anything or in an h.264 container..

yeah, no worries. Vimeo worked out great. thanks for the tip
