Pic files in IE 6.02 - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Running XP, but some sites (for example, gamespot.com) have the pic files show up as red X's, and I can't seem to figure out how to fix the problem.

Any help would be appreciated!

The red Xs usually mean the browser is unable to download the images. Have you tried refreshing the screen? Otherwise check if you have a firewall installed - I used to have a couple of problems with certain sites if I had a firewall running.

Got it! My "hosts" file (no extension) was corrupted by a third party app, and by restoring the file from the cabs drive was able to view things normally.
