itunes question
OK I know nothing about itunes, I inherited my daughter's shuffle, when she got a the video ipod, but she never showed me anything.
So I have this play list with some duplicate songs, i've Selected the ones I want to delete but when I go to edit/delete it asks if I want to delete the entire folder, no option to delete selected. What am I missing? |
This seems odd that it prompts you about deleting the entire folder. How did you select the songs, exactly? Are you deleting from the playlist or from the library?
Are the duplicate songs within the playlist itself, or are they duplicates in the library? Do you know the difference? |
That's interesting. When I right click, there is a "delete" option, which opens a window which asks you whether you want to move the original file to the trash or not.

Ok finally back, duplicates in the playlist, I selected them by clicking the box in front of the song. |
Don't click the box. Highlight them, then hit 'delete'.
|
Will, how can you delete two or three at time?
|
On a Mac, you simply hold down the apple key and click on whatever you want and they remain highlighted. I think it's either the option key or the windows key for you.
|
well on a windows to click dublicate songs you just hold down control or (Ctrl) button and click on the songs you want to highlight
|
Thanks Will, it's the ctl key.
|
Ah, control. I should use more Windows machines just to stay up on things. Lemme know if you get a Mac!
