Problem Logging in to Sites with Firefox
Hey all, I'm a fairly savy computer user and I find myself stumped. I'm having a hell of a time logging into Verizon with firefox. Whenever I try to log in, I get bumped either to a "My Account is unavailable" page. I also get this gem sometimes, "Server Error
This server has encountered an internal error which prevents it from fulfilling your request. The most likely cause is a misconfiguration. Please ask the administrator to look for messages in the server's error log." HOWEVER, when I open up Internet Explorer and go to www.verizonwireless.com and put in my log in information, it goes ahead and opens up my account as normal and I can pay my bill, etc. Does anyone have any idea what setting I accidentally tripped in firefox to make it not like this website or what I can do to reset ff and make it do what it's supposed to do? |
Try logging in via FFX on another computer.
Maybe VW just hates you and firefox in general :/ |
my bank site does something like this when I try to log into my account. I can open the site okay, but (I use Roboform) click to sign in with my username and password, the site comes up with " sorry this site can't be accessed from a bookmark" and then I have to go and use IE.

This is often caused by one or another extension/helper blocking part of the page or your browser's responses. You already tried disabling adblock & friends?
You might want to create a fresh Windows profile for testing. |
did you make the change mentioned here?
