Slightly different Windows Update question
 

Hey, a buddy of mine at work mentioned that M$ had released a critical update that was turning people's internet off, just wouldn't work after a few minutes...

Does anyone know which one it was? I don't want to install it accidentally :)

MPED: this is the one, but note that critical updates are just that, and that the problem isn't universal. i"d install, see if you have probs, and if not, keep it. if you have probs, uninstall it, it shows up in "add/remove software" so wouldn't be too hard.
